About Cornish Tractors
Cornish Tractors was started by Tim and Jean Ward in 1992, at Week St Mary and expanded and updated over the last 30 years. Both from local farming families, Tim and Jean still enjoy keeping South Devon Cattle, alongside the main Cornish Tractors Business.
Tim trained at Lackham College and then worked on a large Arable unit in Wiltshire. Tim then went onto running a Commercial Game Shoot, on the family farm and started dealing in the odd tractor and machine as a hobby, which soon became the business, which is grown into a business which represents several of the larger Agri franchises.
After nearly 35 years of trading Tim has decided to slow things down and close the main part of his business and concentrate as time and his heath permits on selling through the stock he has in his yard, trading in second hand machinery as takes his fancy, as well as being a dealer for some hand-picked suppliers: Chapman machinery, Graham Edwards Trailers, Ritchie Agricultural products, Hudson Agri Trailers, & CLH Trailers.
Our Yard and show rooms will be open to view machinery and equipment by appointment only. Please call before visiting us, to ensure we are here for you to view Trailers/machinery and to provide you with a level of service as we always have done, for the products we now supply to order and from our stock.
